Boom is a Semi-Bust

Tried out the new boom this morning, but it didn't go quite as I planned. As it turns out, the boom coming out to the side got in the way of my paddle. I came up with a new design later in the day that I think will work better. Now I need to find something stronger and lighter than PVC to make the new boom out of. Fishing was lousy today - red tide...
